About combining scales
Items appear in sections. Totals are never merged. The combined reading compares symptom axes (depression, anxiety, mania) using published cut-offs and comorbidity literature. It does not replace a diagnosis. If a section comes from a clinician-rated scale adapted for self-review, still rate the past week on average.
